My name is Julian Humphries and this website represents my work as a freelancer in web development & design. Whether you just need to tweak an existing website or you're starting from scratch, I can offer you a tailor-made solution that meets your requirements in a timely fashion and at an affordable price. No job is too big or too small!

Perhaps you already have grand ideas about your new website and you know exactly what you want, or maybe you're lost and don't have a clue where to start. Either way, I’m eager to help you realise the website your business deserves. Your level of input is entirely up to you - I'll simply fill in all the gaps.

If you're unsure about setting up your own domain name & web hosting, I can guide you through the process or even take care of it all on your behalf. When it comes to web design, I don't work from templates - I build unique and aesthetically pleasing designs to your specifications.

I don’t drag & drop in Dreamweaver or FrontPage either – all my websites are developed in Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict mark-up with CSS to ensure that they are search engine friendly, accessible to all and display consistently across different browsers and platforms.

Perhaps you want some dynamic features on your website such as contact forms, search boxes and shopping baskets? No problem - I have plenty of experience coding in technologies such as PHP, SQL and XML, and can add these and other enhancements to your website with ease.

Once your website’s complete, I can offer you ad-hoc maintenance, charged by the minute (as with all my other work) and I won’t charge you any monthly/annual fees – you simply pay for the amount of work I do, period. I can also help you promote and market your site with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Web directory submission, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising and visitor statistics.

I generally work from my home office in Swindon (Wiltshire, UK) and most of my clients are situated within the surrounding area. However, due to the nature of this business, I can offer all my services to anyone, anywhere in the world and projects can be easily managed by phone and e-mail. Conversely, if you aren’t that far away, I am also available to work on-site at your location. Please contact me for details.
